Within the framework of the social and cultural commitment of the Fundació Baleria, ‘La Panseta’ is also used as a platform for educational activities and cultural dissemination of the city of Denia and the Marina Alta, in collaboration with schools in the area.
In this way, periodically dramatized visits of schoolchildren are made to the maritime station where students are explained, aboard ‘La Panseta’, the history of the port and the city of Denia. This is an educational and participatory project in which students make a journey through the history of navigation, linked in turn to the development of the Marina Alta region.
The interiors of La Panseta are themed with posters on environmental awareness and guidelines for respecting the environment. In addition, in 2018 an informative and didactic panel was installed on the pier about the export of raisins in Dénia, given the importance of the Moll de la Pansa, linked to the export of the production of this food that came from the central regions and that gives its name to the solar boat of Baleria.
